The Opportunity

Job Title : Talent Acquisition Specialist

Department : HR Page 2

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To develop and implement talent acquisition strategies through market analysis and identified channels to bring in the right quantity & quality of Human Resources in terms of best fitment to the job/organization.
  • Develop robust and innovative processes for both internal and external sourcing (e.g., referral programs, social media, employer branding).
  • Sell and market the organization externally to potential candidates.
  • Partner with Corporate campus Programs to manage University recruitment and internship activities to the corporate sector.
  • To offer strategic input to business units for delivering best practice recruitments through different sources of hiring in their respective locations to ensure quick credibility in market.
  • To create, search, network and identify active /passive job seekers on the basis of criticality of the job position and maintain up to date information (database) to proactively fill positions within timelines.
  • To map, analyze the recruitment cost in adherence to the budget and timelines (TAT) to ensure cost effective, and on time recruitments.
  • To identify, negotiate and work with HR Business partners / vendors to ensure right quality of manpower supply within required timelines.
  • To drive implementation and continuous Process oriented standard recruitment practices across units to deliver quality manpower within timelines
  • Drive the Campus Hiring Process right from planning hiring to effective onboarding & managing the internship process.
  • To collaborate and drive operations delivery through engaged RPO partners.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree along with MBA (HR) would be a preference

EXPERIENCE

6 – 8 years of work experience in recruitment in the IT industry

Technical recruiting experience is mandatory.

Past experience of having worked on Taleo will be an added advantage

SKILLS

MUST HAVE

Ability to execute recruiting strategy for direct and campus hires candidate management, diversity sourcing stakeholder engagement and interview process management.

Excellent communication skills written and verbal

A well-earned reputation as a creative recruiter with an ability to source passive candidates through various channels and convert them into great hires.

Experience in having provided a great candidate experience through walk-in drives, scheduled interview drives across all levels.

Proficiency in MS-Office especially MS-Excel & MS-Powerpoint skills

PREFERRED

Works effectively and independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsible, takes ownership of work, and follows through to completion.

Possesses high attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task and follow processes.

Experience working in a matrix organization.

Self-motivated, go-getter , and results-oriented with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills and perseverance to accomplish objectives.

Excellent diagnostic, problem solving and issue resolution ability.

Ability to assess status quo, and come up with new ideas

QUALIFICATIONS
