ITEC was established in 2008 to provide integrated technology solutions to enterprise-wide functions including IT. IT Enablement centre
(ITEC) enables and delivers end to end solutions for firm wide business partners who uses the ALM tools
PPM, & Catalyst tools.
As a Automation lead
he will work collaboratively with Development & Infrastructure support team to automate build and operations of our systems. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes.Maintain tools for monitoring and operations and troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments. The identified resource will need to be in constant verbal and written contact with key stakeholders and peers in India and U.S.
Define and lead initiatives to continually improve performance and achieve organizational goals. Lead will act as crisis manager in handling all high severity incidents and issues by taking full ownership till the issue resolution. Person will be responsible for managing the quality assurance, training and continuous service improvements. Lead should be willing work in US day shift & weekend on call duties on rotational basis. Should be hands on based on the need/day to day requirements.
Lead will work with his line manager and provide required inputs and support for designing, directing and implementing customer service strategies and programs. This includes delivery of service, assessing and modifying internal customer service processes, bench marking our service, and developing tactics to
overall service levels.
Participate in transition of new applications to production support team.
He/She should have excellent oral and written communication.
Must be able to lead the team independently and act as a team player. Person should be proactive in order to drive various initiatives and come up with ideas to improve processes
Skills/Knowledge and experience
Strong communication skill - written and verbal with extensive experience in interacting with US Customers
Hands on experience in an Operations and Support role with proven crisis management and incident management experience for continuously available applications
Must have worked on an agile environment
Working knowledge of continuous build processes.
Significant experience in build automation
Experience with Agile development processes and principles an advantage.
Strong technical knowledge and experience with Unix and Linux platforms
Work together with support teams to identify automation opportunities, and chart actions and status of those actions to improve operations
Report and influence stakeholders with regard to application service capacity and performance risks and issues
Demonstrate relationship building and teamwork skills within all levels of the organization in a collaborative effort
Must be adaptable in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings
Demonstrate positive behaviour in order to motivate direct reports as part of day to day support and in building a cohesive team
Strong time management and planning skills required.

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience as a lead in a production support or automation function
Systems engineering experience
Hands on scripting (UNIX/JSON/Chef) experience
2+ years of hands-on experience with Jenkins, IBM Urbancode Deploy, Sonar,Nexus or similar to any of Devops tools.
ITIL certification (desired) and knowledge is compulsory
Bachelor's Degree (±16 years)
