Job Description
Principal Accountabilities KPI and Targets

Understand global STDF and stress testing framework i.e. process (technical solution), regulatory requirements for data purposes & systems.
Understand and support in documentation of global STDF data requirements for wholesale and retail credit risk banking book data.
Support testing of the Capital systems that will be leveraged to support the STDF and Stress Testing reports and outputs.
Work with Regional change delivery teams and Regional business stakeholders for data reconciliation, preliminary report validation, regression testing, data issue investigation and management as well as problem analysis
Review, understand and analyse current manual process (where it exists and is mature) - to be able to explain gaps to system reports and raise issues for resolution through defect fixes, reference data updates or policy / requirement clarifications.
Ensure ongoing data analysis support for seamless service delivery of STDF / Stress testing reports/outputs to various onshore partners
Support onshore teams in Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing phases as required.
Consistent delivery of processes to agreed SLAs.

Business Knowledge

Have a good understanding of banking products (e.g. retail, wholesale) and how they impact finance operations and more generically the banking business
Have conceptual understanding of regulatory guidelines namely PRA and Basel II/III specific to Credit Risk (Standardized/IRB approach)
Conceptual understanding of regulatory stress testing (specific to Credit Risk) conducted by various regulators like PRA/EBA/FRB/HKMA etc.
Ability to communicate and understand core issues affecting the business users
Experience of credit risk reporting, including knowledge of Regulatory Capital reports
Strong knowledge of data reconciliation processes, and variance analysis
Disseminate the conceptual and process knowledge to the team in a consistent and methodical manner

Technical Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, Access)
Knowledge and working experience in SQL is desirable to support data validation and analysis activities
Knowledge and working experience in BI tools is desirable
Hands of experience on SAS is highly desirable

Educational Requirements
Graduate degree in Commerce/Finance
MBA / CFA desirable

Mature and independent - able to work with little supervision
Proactively identifies and completes required tasks
Proficiency in problem solving
Team player able to manage conflict and conflicting priorities

Experience

Between 4-6 Years of total experience, out of which 2 years of relevant experience in finance application/tools. Business analysis and quality testing experience
Experience of working in a project role.
