Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE:
Enable the delivery of the enhanced value proposition, customer experience and business objectives that are proposed through the Retail Transformation project by ensuring the requisite alignment and talent capability in SCB India that is needed to truly put ‘digital with a human touch’ into action for its customers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Impact Analysis
Identify the impact of each Transformation programme on employee job families across Retail Banking in order to deliver on the new/ modified outcomes, processes and systems resulting from the programmes. This would include:
- Identification of new job families and their roles and responsibilities
- Identification of revised roles and responsibilities to be undertaken by existing job families
- Identification of job family skilling/ re-skilling needs
- Identification of productivity impact of each Programme on respective job families
- Identification of manpower capacity / headcount needs pre/post go-live of each programme as well as planning for transition journey from current to revised headcount (e.g. hiring, re-deployment etc.)

Building Awareness
• Work with HR and Corporate Affairs team for developing and implementing business as well as employee-job family specific internal communication campaigns to drive awareness on the outcomes and impact of the Transformation, in alignment with the Group communication plan
• Work with Corporate Affairs team for developing and implementing internal communication campaigns to drive awareness across SCB/ Retail in India on the enhanced customer proposition, products, systems and services being launched (as a result of the Transformation Programmes), , in alignment with the Group communication plan
• Design initiatives to build an integrated picture of the Transformation programmes for employees and create a positive employee experience through the transition journey

Employee Capability Buidling
• Undertake change impact analysis to develop an employee training needs analysis and design the country-specific training plan, including implementation waves, training delivery channels, employee coverage etc. for pre and post go-live requirements
• Contribute to training material design and integration, especially ensuring country-specific alignment and relevance of training content
• Drive training plan implementation as per schedule and ensure employee coverage as well as achievement of learning outcome,
• Identify and engage, if needed, external vendors/consultants to enable the delivery of learning programs needed to upskill/ re-skill employees

Monitoring
• Monitor the training and communication budget and spends for delivering the Retail Transformation impact to employees
• Identify opportunities to engage with employees to understand the impact of the employee-related initiatives being delivered to enable the Retail Transformation programmes and feed-forward the inputs/ issues for designing/ driving enhanced initiatives
• Define and track metrics for staff adoption of each Programme components and outcomes

Qualifications and Skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• At least 10-12 years of work experience with experience in organizational change management, communication and capability building
• Experience in large scale transformations/ change management projects preferred
• Understanding of retail Retail bankingBanking, macro business environment, trends, and competition. Should be able to translate client needs and transition objectives into staff impact and actionables
• Understanding of the overall digitization tools and technology landscape, current trends and applicability in the business environment
• Ability to co-relate technology to transition, thereby possessing the ability to sellpromote the concept to internal stakeholders
• Ability to respond effectively to change, managing work in a fast paced matrix environment including across multiple geographies and functions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive lasting relationships, even in difficult situations, with diverse people spanning internal/external organizations
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
